Top Fundraising Chapters
 
To find a cure for children stricken with cancer is a hope for all Tri Deltas. Through local cancer charities and St. Jude Hospital sisters are working to raise funds to support the fight against this devastating disease.

These three chapters earned the highest amount of philanthropic funds for 2009-2010.*

Alabama

Sorry to crash. Can you share with us what they are doing? Like what type of fundraiser? I know Tri Delta at Ole Miss have a huge pancake fundraiser along with other events.

ETA: Their fundraising efforts are amazing by the way!

A lot of chapters participate in the Sincerely Yours letter writing campaign. Girls send donation request letters to family and friends. This is a program that St Jude themselves helps administer, and is the same thing as what Up Til Dawn does on many campuses. Also, I know Southern also has a big golf and softball tournament. I think Alabama has some big sports tournament too.

It's great to see such strong efforts in the fight against pediatric cancer.
Don't quote me on this, but I'm almost positive that the TriDelta Chapter here at PSU (now closed) are the sorority/one of the sororities that started the PSU IFC/Panhellenic Dance MaraTHON!
