University of Tennessee Knoxville Rush 2011
 

I will be attending UT in the Fall, and I plan on rushing! I have heard that it is competitive - but maybe not as competitive as other SEC schools such as Ole Miss or Bama. I was wondering if anyone has rushed at UT or has any insight to this! I have a few friends in sororities up there already, but I just want a second opinion from other people. Thanks so much! :)

Titchou- The 2012 Panhellenic recruitment team at Knoxville said on a couple of occasions that more than one rec isn't necessary, and that it isn't a huge deal if you don't have any recs. They seemed to stress this. I got recs for all but three chapters, and 2 recs for a chapter I really think I'll fit in with. Should I be worried?

It's really too late for you to do anything at this point. You'll be fine. Don't worry and have a great recruitment. Keep us posted on how it goes. So jealous about the sorority village. Go Vols!

I know, but sometimes the posts on this website make me nervous. I'm still excited to rush though! I know it's about meeting people and making friends as well as becoming a sister. :)

Just remember this: everyone is nervous, even the women on the other side. The best thing you can do is to be well rested, look your best, and smile.
