Sorry if this is in the wrong spot.

I'm currently ssin high school but I plan on going to a university in the south. I would love to be in a sorority. From what I have read on here, rush is very competitive at southern schools. I know that recs will probably greatly boost my chances of getting a bid, but I don't know anyone who has been in a sorority. Am I able to get a recommendation from somebody that I do not know? If so, how?

Go to the Sorority Recruitment link (up above), and there are lots and lots of threads with answers to your first questions. Check out the Sticky threads at the very top ;). Then if you still have questions, ask away.

And one more thing- when you say a "university in the south", do you mean SEC? Or a smaller school?
