R.C.'s

I have my interview for Recruitment Coordinator tomorrow...

any tips on what to say or emphasize?

think about how you would handle certain situations that may arise and brainstorm solutions that might solve the problem re:

1)bff's are both going thru recruitment and have vowed that they are going to join the same sorority. as the week goes on, they are being asked back to different sororities and are liking different sororities, so one girl wants to drop out(even though she really likes her choices). how would you help her?

2) one r.c. is not being very discreet about her sorority affiliation and you are afraid that it might unfairly influence some of the pnms in her group. what would you do?

3) a mouthy pnm is trash talking some of the smaller sororities very loudly, whether anyone is giving her the time of day or not. how would you handle this?

Is this a position within your sorority or through Panhel?

Also you're a freshman, so whatever the position you may not really be qualified until you've gone through formal recruitment as a sister.

I'm currently a freshman at USC. I'm a pi phi as well.

I think I like where I'm at right now in life, but I am having a hard time really connecting with a lot of the girls in my house. I like being a pi phi, but there are some things that I just don't get. I want to be involved. I want to be a good sister, but I don't think like I should, or I guess, who I am "supposed" to think, about drinking, and guys, and girls.

any suggestions about how I can fit in more with my sisters?

I'm wondering why you're considering being a RC when you're a freshman who hasn't even been through recruitment on the other side AND you don't seem to feel very established in your own chapter? You don't sound like you'd be a great ambassador for Greek life and more like you're trying to escape your chapter responsibilities during recruitment.

I was way too tired when I wrote this lol.

I am interviewing to be on the Recruitment Committee for my house, not for panhel.

Ok cool. Usually RC stands for Recruitment Counselor. I hope your interview went well and volunteering helps you grow closer to your sisters.
