EBAY and the likes...

Hello Greek family and friends!

I know many folks on here tend to check out the auction sites for Greek gear etc. PLEASE do us a favor. If you should come across a handbook, a pin or anything that may actually look like its official property of XYZ organization, please simply send a PM to the moderator of said organization or a member that you may know of said organization. There really is no need to advertise further items that should not be in the public domain. A discreet alert will get our attention and we will take care of said property.

I'd like to take a moment to define "official property" just to prevent inboxes from being flooded unnecessarily. Please only contact me if a DZ item up for sale is something that should NOT be up for sale (a badge for instance or a pledge book). If you can buy it in a campus bookstore (bumper stickers, picture frames, etc) then I don't need to know about it.

Pledge Manuals and Pins/Badges alone are going to keep you guys really busy. I think you made a mistake by asking people to contact you.

If you look carefully enough, there are literally hundreds of pins and manuals on eBay.

Just to clarify, I'm not asking that you contact me about every GLO piece of merchandise. I personally am only asking to be contacted if the item is the official property of Delta Zeta.

If I understood Finer Woman correctly, she is only wanting to know about property of her organization also (Zeta Phi Beta).

Yep! You are absolutely right DZRose! I have no use or desire to acquire official paraphenalia of organizations other than mine.
However, when I see such properties, I try to notify a member of said organization out of mere respect.

Finer Woman, EXCELLENT idea. Stops further advertising and keeps the boards neat 'n' clean, at the same time. :)

Yep I bid on ebay! But For LXA Badges only! I am bidding on one now and will get it if possible!
I either re-sell it at my cost to my Brothers or plan on donating to my Chapter!

I hate to see someones Badge in the Hands of a none member! But there are people out there that bid on anything for grins! I collect Greek stuff, but only mine!:)
