Amazon.com gives a free prime membership with a .edu address.

t-mobile offers discounts on your phone bill with a .edu address. The presumption is that you're a student. ;)

Discounts on anything, food, clothing, electronics.

You can get cheap Microsoft products with an .edu email address.

I forget how. Go use Google. I used my wife's email (she is a masters student) to pick up a license of Microsoft Office 2010 for ~$75.00.
