massage workshop
 

I'm part of a new sorority on campus this semester and had an idea to host a massage workshop to get to know the other sororities. We haven't had a whole lot of contact with them yet aside from two parties at the only frat house in town, and we were still in the process of getting to know eachother at the time. I have a friend who is a certified Massage therapist that is willing to help out if we want to do this. Does this sound like something that would be interesting? How could I make it more of a "get to know you" thing?

Thats an awesome idea! My school offers a cosmetology program too, so I think I will look into interest from them in helping out (I know they usually have to get so many hours of practice in, so that might work really well.) My girls like the idea though. Has anyone else done something similar? How did it work out?

My sorority did this with Lambda Chi Alpha. We all went over for dinner and then the massage therapist showed up and we all gave and received massages. It was a lot of fun...the guys definitely liked it :)

Hmmm...I'm a Lambda Chi and right about now I wish I was at that chapter where massages were given and recieved ;)

We had massage therapists come give massages to the new DZ chapter here when we were courting them for homecoming. Everyone seemed to like it.

I think free massages are like free pizza ... no matter the event people will show up. Awesome idea!
