Watermelon Bust help

Hey guys,

My chapter, Zeta Sigma (University of Louisville), hasn't had a watermelon bust in a few years but we're looking to bring it back in the Fall 2011 semester. We would like to throw a great Bust to raise our reputation on campus. We read somewhere that there is a handbook for the watermelon bust so if anyone has that file or link I'd love to get that from you. Also, if you have any ideas for events, advertisement on campus, fundraising, and any other input would be wonderful.

Thanks

Hey,

I know there's a NAFD handbook through Officer Portal, if you want to take a look at that to see if it had Watermelon Bust info.

Your brothers up at Drexel (Epsilon Kappa) are also trying to start up a Watermelon Bust as well. I just took over as our High Theta and posted a topic a few weeks back, if you want to see anything useful from there. We're still trying to figure everything out.

Watermelon Bust at Zeta Sigma

You guys are hilarious! I've got a couple years' worth of old Watermelon Bust plans whenever you need them. Now I wouldn't say they're the best...each had its strengths and weaknesses. But my best suggestion would be to speak with each sorority president or social chair about what they'd like to see in a philanthropy day/week. My guess is mud volleyball in late October might not be high on the list (haha, just ragging on you some!).
