curious...
Ok, maybe someone has already asked these questions, but I'll ask anyway:
1. I've heard of co-ed Fraternities, but are there co-ed Sororities? 2. I know that you can't be a member of two IFC or NPC org's, but can you be a member of a National, and start a local? Thanks! Also, feel free to email/PM me as well. |
Answers! (I hope)
1. I have seen a few co-ed sororities on the web (the one I can think of is at Indiana U in PA and is a social/service group).
2. I wouldn't see why not, unless the local acquires many chapters and goes NPC somewhere down the line. (I don't think that is happening anywhere anytime soon) |

Wouldn't a coed fraternity and a coed sorority be the same thing? |
Well yes, I guess so, operationally speaking. I think it depends on who initially founded it, guys or girls, whether they call it a fraternity or sorority.
