qustion for the ladies
that pubic hair rant thread got me thinking. does anyone use any of that hair removal stuff (such as nad's or epil stop) and if you do...does it actually work. or is it a bunch of pain for absolutely nothing.
thanks!!!!! nicole |
I've never used either of those.. but i've heard that nads doesn't work, but the epil-stop does..basically I think its just like nair tho..the sally hansen cold wax strips work pretty good tho too..

if youre going to do it - go all out and get the waxing done professionally - i don't mess with hot wax and down there

What won't bite?
James A puzzled Kappa Sig .. |
i am assuming she meant the thing being waxed won't bite. just think about what i said first, "the pubic hair rant thread" ...and you'll know what is being waxed. you still puzzled????
|
Hmm, I think her point was(and I so agree) Do NOT want to 'mess up' with HOT WAX down there-think about THAT kinda pain for a moment-I agree, if you are going to do waxing there, do it professionally.

Before she edited her post, she said "I don't mess with down there", I was replying that it won't bite (down there). ;)
I just found it kind of funny the way she worded that. :p |
Definitely waxing is the way to go. I've been having it done so long that it doesn't even hurt anymore; guess I killed off all the nerve endings?
|
Ok first of all I don't bother with chemical agents down there, I just shave, but as far as Nad's goes I tried to use it elsewhere and it did NOTHING. I was pretty pissed considering I paid 30 bucks for it, and all it turned out to be basically was sugar and honey. I also tried epil-stop and spray on my arms, and all it really did was break some of the hair off (leaving stubble) and mademy arms break out in a red bumpy rash....mind you, I have very dark skin that is normally not sensitive at all, and my arms itched for three days.
If you need to remove hair, either shave or go get a pro job done. |
I heard nads is just like using regular wax, a friend of mine used the Nads and said it hurts really badly, so badly she cryed after taking it off :( so I am assuming that happy just got tape ripped off the leg or where ever look on the commercial might be hmm fake :P
The epil spray does work , but it's just as expensive as regular wax, so I say what everyone says either just do the wax or try the epil if you have the time and the loot :D DGPhoney~ |
I just can't believe there's a product called Nads. When I was in middle school, that word was used to refer to a part of the, uhh, male anatomy. I don't want to be smearin' that on my legs.

Remember Beavis and Butthead saying "Yeah, yeah kick em' in the NADS!" :D |
Nads only works on hair that is somewhat long. My roommate tried it out on her arms and it took that off, but eyebrows and shorter hair like that doesn't come off--but, not to be gross, nads tastes good;)
