Debrothering Kappa Alpha Psi
 

I was wondering how to debrother from Kappa Alpha PSi. MY chapter is nothing like they preached when I joined. My advisor is a dictator who does not let the officers make any decisions or do anything, 2 of my brother have attempted to sleep with my girlfriend in the past two months, and I am the only non-black(I'm Hispanic) member in the chapter and I constantly receive racial comments. They also have made me pay hundreds of dollars out of my own pocket for chapter expenses. THis in not the Kappa I want to be a part of. If anyone can help me out please let me know.

First, it is just bad to air your dirty laundry in public like this, but since you have here is my answer.


I highly recommend that you take up your issues with your regional / district officer. Basically, follow the chain of command for your org.

If that does not work out, then submit a formal letter of resignation to your org (IHQ) and return your fraternity pin. Walk away from the org and don't look back.
