Texas: Shotgun Allegedly Fired at Firefighters at Kappa Alpha House
A member of Kappa Alpha has been charged with firing a shotgun at firefighters at the fraternity house.
The news report in the Statesman doesn't provide insight into why he (allegedly) did this. There doesn't seem to be any indication that it was a fraternity-approved action. See: http://www.statesman.com/news/local/...d-1254335.html The young gentleman may be in a heap of trouble, IMHO. |

Being an old hand at responding to risk mgmt situations (unfortunately), I was trying to think thru this one. "Thought people were breaking in (lot of that in the news on other campuses lately)." Then the guy ended up on the roof. I'm sure his lawyer will figure it out now that he's been charged, but that's tough to make that sound anything less than insanely stupid. Sorry to hear it.

The young gentleman is being charged with a third-degree felony. See

I hope that when or if the firemen subdued him, that they were not exactly gentle in doing so. Dirty punk.
