I NEED ADVICE & HELP WITH A LETTER OF INTEREST
 

Hello all,

First and foremost, I am NOT GREEK or a part of any sorority. I am currently in the rushing process and need help with the FIRST sentence of my Interest Letter.

I already have an outline of what I plan to say. I am just having difficulty with the opening sentence. I'm not sure how I should open the letter.

Could anybody PLEASE help me:)

Actually, in all seriousness, if you are not a troll, don't write the interest letters. Attend recruitment instead. In fact, if you are considering a NPC sorority, I think the letters of interest may even jeopardize your chance at joining any of them due to strict rules of what is allowed.

She's still not going to get any help from here, but don't give advice if you have no idea what's going on. If she's dumb enough that you could have hurt her chances with your post, then she probably didn't have a shot to begin with, but your "advice" was actually the opposite of helpful.

Write the first sentence last. If the rest of the letter comes easy for you, stop procrastinating and write it. You'll figure out the first sentence later.

Besides, if we help you, then you'd have to credit us, and if you make line, then we all make line. So do it on your own.

But.... but then I could have my chance! ;)
