pledge dance
 

Okay, so I have a pledge dance to go to tonight, and the theme is "Summer Fling." What the hell does that mean? I need some ideas on what to wear. I am trying to think of some funny interpretation of the theme (such as obnoxious Disneyland tourists), so if anyone has ideas, please share! Thanks.

-Tourist theme: Sandals with white athletic socks, vinyl visors, fanny packs, camera around your neck
-White Hat Frat Boy: visited my hometown all the time :) white fraternity hat, abercrombie, and a sunburn (use lots of a girl's blush or bronzer)
-A Speedo
-Cabana Boy: tight shirt or no shirt, slicked back hair, tight shorts, offer to rub sunscreen on any woman that walks by
-Lifeguard: red shorts, whistle

Yeah, but I think I could do "cabana boy" and show up with no shirt on!

We decided just to go with white t-shirts that say "This theme sucks."

Who came up with it? The pledges?

What about something based off "Grease"? kinda get that "summer lovin'" thing goin on.....

Yeah. The pledgemaster accused me of "hating on the theme" last night, but the pledges all thought we were pretty funny.

Old person talking here.... we always had our dances and parties on the weekend .... Tuesday night - - doesn't that make Wednesday classes hard to get through?

Yeah, but when the boys don't rent out the bar until the last minute, they have to take what they can get.

Why is it always our job to rent out the bar. I mean, i know we are gentleman, but christ on a cracker, why do we have to always do all the work?

Well, seeing as how it was TKE pledge dance, I would think the TKE's would be the ones responsible.

Oh. I thought it was a dance for your pledge class. But just in general...guys are expected to do the work for mixers.
