New School GC Reunion Thread
 

Someone started a thread for people who have been on GC since 2004 and before. So, I thought it would be nice to start one for the newbies -people who have been on here since 2005 and later. I joined in 2006, and I actually wasn't a big fan of message boards, I just didn't see myself chit chatting with people that way, so, I originally posted here for fun (not to really chat), and I wasn't really being very serious about it. I didn't post a lot, but, I did lurk and I started to find a lot of the threads and conversations interesting. I found this website because I'm Greek and Italian so, I had been lurking on some of the Greek websites, and then I ran across this one. I joined Phi Sigma Society shortly before I left UND, and over the summer, before I transferred to the University of Minnesota, I participated in a summer veterinary medicine program at Kansas State, where I joined a Christian organization for women. So far, I've had so much fun on GC, and have chatted with some very smart, intelligent people.

Yay! I joined in October 2007, so my chapter was just a baby. We had been installed only 6 months before that and had just finished our first formal Panhellenic recruitment. It's crazy to think of how stuff has changed in my life (Kappa and otherwise) since then.

I joined in September 2007, which is when I went through formal recruitment. Seems weird that it's been almost four years, and that I've been an alumna for almost two (I *GASP* went through as a JUNIOR). It feels like my twenties are FLYING, which is probably mostly due to med school, but still.

I joined in Feb 2005, almost 1 year after I left school. My chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha got shutdown in 2006. I first joined GC to see if there are other Lambda chi's and now I just like to hang out here and read about postings. Lots of diverse people with different backgrounds and careers....and some crazy-ass trolls. lol.

GC has been fun to me and I'm sure it'll continue to be this way :D
