Puxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow, so an early spring is declared.

After last night's storm, THANK GOD.

If he's wrong, people are going to be REALLY upset this year...lol.

I hope to God my husband doesn't find a showing of "Groundhog Day" on tv tonight. He loves that movie, and I hate it. I have a feeling it will be on.:rolleyes:

@AOII_Angel ...tell him that the groundhog has no jurisdiction in Arizona .. we rely on the predictions of Agua Fria Freddie. :-)

Will have to look that one up, Paige. We have a crawfish in Louisiana that predicts the coming of spring... don't know how accurate it is, but we eat him afterwards so no one cares.:D

Yayyyy! I woke up and was going to Google it, then I thought maybe he wanted to stay in his hole for another week and just hibernate! Lol

i love that movie. Bill Murray is awesome. Andie MacDowell is gorgeous. not to mention it's an Aristotelian moral fable.
