Leaving and Starting Question

Has there been any cases of a brother leaving a fraternity and starting their own? Let me know.

Peace

Since once you sign with a fraternity, its brother for life, and I know your not able to join other fraternity's in most cases, but what if you started your own? would there be any technical shit your old fraternity might pull? thanks

Besides possibly mocking you, no not really. Unless you're trying to start a chapter of an already established fraternity, there's nothing they could do.

Well, they could make sure you never get a seat at the IFC table.

But yeah, they would definitely mock. I want to mock just because someone who calls himself a "Thinker" could come up with this sentence:

It is really a school to school thing. On one of my universities, members of a national tried to break away and start a local. They were told they would never be recognized by Greek Life, because of campus rules..and the campus did recognize both national and local chapters.

MC, I love it. I want to mock the "GreekThinker" because he calls himself a thinker yet, he doesn't know how to differentiate between your and you're. Seriously, why can't some people learn the difference? I especially find it annoying when a person is college-educated and doesn't know the difference.

That's the ONLY problem you found with that statement?

I love it when people use acronyms when they obviously have no idea what they mean. OMGWTFBBQFP

Yes, except in your case, where it means Left Out of Love.
