Pi Phis - Does your chapter sing this song?
 

Hey Pi Phis! Do any of your chapters sing this song? I've googled and can't find it anywhere. It's a beautiful song with harmony at the end. We sing it on pref night. Here's what I know off the top of my head.

Ha ha...I can tell by the phrasing that it's set to the theme from Ice Castles. My pledge class wrote an AOII song to that song that we sang at Pref, too.

Actually I just searched and listened to the Ice Castles theme and it's not set to that tune :( Although it, too, is a beautiful song!

Oops...wrong song! Your right. This song is "If a rose could bloom a thousand times..." I can't remember the original song name, but we used the same one. I thought it was Ice Castles, but it's not. :) You can tell it's the same song by the similar first line, though!

Yep! At first I thought i might be because the chords at the beginning are very similar to the ones that go behind the first two lines of the song we sing, but after that it's completely different and the melody of the words aren't even close.

We didn't sing it but I can tell that it's a certain 70s song by Bread. Maybe "If" is the name? I'll go to youtube and see if I can find it.
