I'm 21 today! Congrats to me, and keep me in your thoughts at 10pm (central time) when I begin the pub crawl.

Does anyone have any yummy drink suggestions?

Try a midori sour or an amaretto sour. My faves!

Thanks to all of you who make sure I will be safe. Our chapter has great risk management (yay Evalyn!) and always makes sure that there is at least one DD present at all times. My roommate will be mine tonight, I believe. One of the benefits of being on the older end of the plegde class is that most of my close friends are younger than I. ;)

PS-I love Midori Sours! Such a pretty color! Mmmmmm... (I mean, I've never had one, just been told how good they are...:D )

Since it is a class night, I will probably not make it very far or late...have a presentation at 2 on Tuesday. Also, Southeast has chosen 11 am Tues for our annual evacuation practice. Yay, I get to listen to the sirens and in-house alarms going off. Lucky me.

Happy 21st crazyleggedsigma! Enjoy yourself :) Eat a lot of bread during the day, and as someone told me on my 21st, for every three shots, drink a whole glass of water. It didn't work...I threw up anyways...just didn't get completely dehydrated. I highly recommend a mind eraser :)

continuing on the "lets be safe" thread. if you take some b-vitamins before you go out, it'll help you rehydrate afterwards, as well as drinking milk before will help slow alcohol absorption.

continuing on the "fun drinks" thread. we always buy tekes a "3 wise men" for thier 21st. it's Jim Bean, Jack Daniels, and Johnny Walker.

Sometimes you sub out Johnny for some Jose Cuervo depending on individual taste.

Ugh! People always buy those! In Cape, anyway, they are Jack, Jim, and Jose...some times the Three Wise Men Go Hunting and bag a Wild Turkey as well. MMMMMMMMMM :rolleyes:

My roommate's boyfriend is a Sig Ep, and has promised one for me, but she told him that he will not get one for me. We'll see what happens...all I know is that I really don't like whiskey!

My cousin told me to get a Caribou Lou-151 and Pineapple Juice. Worth a shot, I guess-no pun intended.

Sorry everybody, this really has nothing to do with my birthday, but I started the thread, so I feel like I can do this...


Seeing all the TKE love makes me think of my sister-she was a TKE groupie in her college days. Rockhurst College in Kansas City. There were no sororities when she was there, but she went to all the TKE formals and socials and designed a good deal of miscelany for them-shirts, cups, signs, flyers, etc. She was a Phys Therapy major, but loved graphic design.

Sorry, just thought I'd throw that one out there.

Ruby Tuesday's has this huge Megarita drinks that are huge! They put a gummi fish in it, I usually have to stab it with my straw to get it. lol.
