Worst Cooks in America (Food Network)

I am totally hooked on this culinary trainwreck. Who knew you could sink lower than Sandra Lee?

I love it too. Some of these people are just amazing in their lack of cooking skills.

Just by the title I know I could be on it. I don't cook. There's just no point.

One guy that used to be my roommate should be on that show.
He recently asked my how to boil an egg..

This is better than Sandra Lee, she's just disqualified from participating because she's an employee already. Also she creepily sexually harassed Anthony Bourdain if you believe his book...

I just think this whole show is a fake. The level of incompetence exhibited is overwhelming. I bet whomever wins is, in fact, a really good cook who has been faking incompetence all along.

For whatever reason, I love watching this show. My boyfriend and I watch it together, and we just find it endlessly amusing.

Not trying to disagree with you ;), but some of those people . . . I just don't see how even a semi-competent cook could fake such incompetence.

I just really don't get the premise. I mean, being a horrible cook isn't difficult.

The premise is for the horrible cooks to try to learn to be good cooks.

Erica, the ding-dong who made a "baloney quesadilla" as her debut dish, is a recycled famewhore who appeared on Beauty and the Geek.

You and I are >>>here<<<.

I don't feel alone, now.:)

eta: but for me, I actually wish I could cook, I just don't know how to.

Can't be that bad. My husband's ex wife had to ask her friend how to turn on the oven.

And to top it off, she literally burned down their kitchen trying to deep fry something

Yeah, but I don't see how a semi-intelligent person could be so incompetent. Read the instructions or buy a cookbook. Start with the Junior Cookbook from Betty Crocker and over time work your way up to Julia Child.

I should introduce you to my old roommate sometimes. Nice guy, but completely incompetent in the kitchen, even with instructions and us trying to help him along.
