Decoration Ideas for Hollywood/Club Themed Back-to-School Party
 

So last night, our social comm voted on a Hollywood/Club themed back to school party at the beginning of the spring semester. We have a lot of the stuff down already for what we're gonna do and how to decorate (just an FYI, our spring b-t-s parties are at the house and fall b-t-s parties at venues). People will be dressing up in club attire, we will have a DJ, a red carpet outside, our house photographers taking pics of people in front of a backdrop, bartenders, etc. Any of you have some cool thoughts/ideas to throw in? Much appreciated :)

Hollywood, as in Old Hollywood? And what do you mean by "club" theme?

We have an Entourage theme for our upcoming rush, and we decided to match the biggest party we throw to the theme (first time that's happening in our chapter)...so it's definitely modern-day Hollywood. We're thinking of a name for it and it might be Premier Night, Paparazzi, Club ______, or something like that. We're still not sure. Basically, it's supposed to be like a club party where all the celebrities go.

The only thing I can think of is decorating the house to look like an ultra-lounge (that's what they're called in Dallas; not sure of what they're called elsewhere).

Just go to some of the trendy clubs' websites and use some of the elements of those places.

sounds good. also...our house is one story. greek houses on our campus are not REAL greek houses. the city doesn't support having a row or zoned houses with letters...so we all live in mostly single story family size homes. we have an amazing set up with 10 brothers living here and soon even 12, but you can imagine that we only have space for an event like this only in the living room, den, outdoor cabana, and kitchen area. we even use one of the rooms as a vip room. every spring semester we throw the back to school parties at our house and every fall at a 3rd party venue. with that said, during spring bts parties, we've had about 400+ people in the house at once. anything you can suggest?
