Hi from France!!!
Hi everyone,
My name is Pierrick, I'm 20. I'm french. In september, I may be coming to USA in Boston to study English for a year. KAPLAN ASPECT is my school. It is located on the campus of Northeastern University. I have the right to access the infrastructure of the university. I want to know if I can rush a fraternity. Am I right? If yes, enter a fraternity is free? Do I have to pay premiums? I hope an answer because i really want to rush a fraternity because i think it's a good way to have a lot of friends and it's so prestigious. See you next year in Boston Pierrick |
You do have to pay membership dues if you join a fraternity. However, do not do so if all you're looking for is prestige. It can be a lot of hard work.

How cost?
contributions are expensive? I mean, it's more around 100 € a month, or 500 €?
The prestige is a part of the fraternities, but I also admit that this is a great way to make parties. |
Member dues vary from campus to campus and fraternity to fraternity, and it depends on what is included in your membership. I would recommend you contact the Greek Life office at Northeastern. They should be able to get you financial information for the fraternities on your campus.
It will probably be closer to 100 than 500 per month. But remember when asking these questions to convert to US figures. You might confuse people asking about Euros just because they're not used to thinking in these terms. Bon chance! |
