Finding an item that seems impossible to find?
 

I bought my mom a big white tea cup with a pretty red snowflake trim. The design look sort of Norwegian. You know...like those wool ski sweaters. She adores this cup! It has a matching plate.

Anyway...I borrowed the cup and plate to take Christmas photos, and today, my two year old dropped the cup. It's not exactly fragile, but cup to kitchen floor was not a good mix.

I've tried ebay and craigs list. How else might I find something that seems to no longer exist. I bought it at the Yankee Candle Flagship store in Massachusetts between 6 and 8 years ago. It has no label or markings at all. Any tips? Good websites I've never heard of?

Ugh. I could just cry!!! Actually, I did, and my sweet boys asked me to stop!

I just sold an older Thule roof rack set online. It is missing a locking hood and that particular piece of plastic is discontinued....it took me over an year and I still couldn't find it. So I said "f it" and bought a newer pair of feet and sold all 6 to the new owner so he can mix and match it.

OH. My. GOD! I'm so mad!

A few years ago, my mom bought me this snowflake pattered China from Khols, that they discontinued the very next year. I never got to complete the entire collection, as i wanted 8 placesettings, instead of 4.

Hubby broke a bowl, and a plate, and we eventually decided to get rid of it and would just get something else. We sold it all at a yard sale this summer.

The set is available on that website. I could have completed the set after all :(

This may not be exactly what the you're talking about, but I lost the remote to the TV like 6 months ago. I can not find that shit. Its impossible
