Something Nice for the House

Brothers (and anyone else who cares to read),

I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas as far as gifts given to a fraternity house, or something that the brothers could pitch in to purchase/build/create.

My thinking is things along the lines of a fire pit, big screen TV, horse shoe pit, hot tub/jacuzzi, basketball hoop. Anything really, and the budget could vary.

Really just something to spice things up and something nice that all of the brothers in the house could appreciate.

I post this on here because I'm going to be living in the house the next few years and wondered if anyone who had done the same at their chapter house has any suggestions or things that they wish they could have done while they lived there.

Can't go wrong with a pool table.

You might consider a large, well framed and matted Coat of Arms. I did that for Cal State Fullerton when I was the High Pi. After they closed I sent it to HQ in Indy and it now hangs in the hallway at HQ and was "used" at the Centennial.
