Madison from Vail, CO, has fangs. Brad was not sure what to make of it. Apparently, they could not find a female fire fighter like our guy Ryan.

Loved it when the first Bachelorette slapped him.

Let the train wrecks begin...

Ehhh, if he wasn't feeling it the first time, he at least manned up about it. Much better than the couples that "are so in love" and then break up within months amid whispers of wanting to go Hollywood.

And the slap? Please. "This is for all the women in America?" Babe, don't include me in that group. Although it was attention getting and I am sure he remembered her name!

I might end up getting hooked on this iteration even though I haven't watched it in years. Got tired of the "most unusual/surprising/best/whatever" rose ceremony EVAH hype.

Some of the women are kind of, err, unusual. Fang girl is definitely unusual.

We have the tease of "That thing..."

I am disappointed that no one passed out, puked, gave him her panties or asked to reproduce. Not sure if the producers limited the amount of alcohol or if the women have learned not to be drunk floozies. Then again, if they did anything, it would take away attention from our Bachelor Train Wreck, Brad. We can't have that, now, can we?

I am excited that two of the women who got roses tonight are from the Seattle area. I already know someone who knows the slapper. This should be fun.

I don't really get the outrage either. He clearly had some issues, and has attempted to work through them. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

But seriously, the fang girl?

I like Emily, the one whose fiance was killed in a plane crash, but she seems pretty reserved so we'll see.

One of my sisters grew up in the same neighborhood as Emily. She said she's incredibly sweet, but to me it seems like she's portraying herself a little incorrectly. She described herself as a "coal miner's daughter" from WV - not accurate. I know that coal miner's daughter and WV usually go hand in hand, but to me "coal miner's daughter" sounds like you're a simple, down-home country girl. And from my friend who has known her most of her life, that's not the case. Just thought that was odd.

I like Emily a lot though. Already can't stand Michelle, the Utah hair stylist. I think she'll be really cut throat. I also liked Ashley, the Philly dentist.

Fang girl needs to go ASAP.

Seeing as how she is CRAZY, I wouldn't put it past her to have punched herself in the eye.

I think Michelle hit/punched herself in the eye, and not accidentally while she was sleeping.
