Punch Bowl Cake

Do anyone have a good recipe for a punch bowl cake?

SoTrue1920 11-12-2001 10:13 AM

I'd never heard of one until you mentioned it, but I found these two recipes:

Recipe One

Recipe Two

the cakes!

Let a Soror know how they turn out!

Thanks soror, I already have those 2, I was looking for different variations. A man retired from my job, and a co-worker made one, it was GOOD! I was going to make one for Thanksgiving, but my mom already said she was making the usual, peach cobbler, carmel cake, and German Chocolate.
I decided to substitute vanilla pudding for lemon, I'm using strawberry glaze too.

I will try one of the two recipes out myself. I was wondering how to fix a punck bowl cake. One of my favorites.

Sorry for the typo. I meant P-U-N-C-H bowl cake.

Greetings Sisterfriends! I tasted a punch bowl cake that had rum in it... let me tell you, it was GOOOOD!! :D

My friend has the recipe. I think I may have to call and get that one... and when I do, I won't leave y'all hanging!

YUM

I just gave it a test/taste run. My guy ate half the cake already.
I decided to go ahead and make it for Thanksgiving, but I never serve someone something without trying the recipe out first.
It's great, and presentation is everything, because it looks so pretty in a clear punch bowl, although I used a Trifle bowl.
