ITT we post Vintage Composites
Many universities are placing vintage pictures in their digital archives and they can often be accessed online. I have come across some fantastic vintage pictures of "rush" and formals that are incredible. As I find them, I will start to post vintage composites.

Not a composite, but...
This was taken by a photographer from Columbus, OH -- I'm guessing these are Chi Omegas from Ohio State in the 1950s. I love the pearls and saddle shoes.

^^^I'll do some research. I have most of the OSU yearbooks from the 1950s and I believe the ChiO chapter was larger than this. One of the funny things that I see late in that decade are the chapter Blazers with crests. Everyone in the picture will be matchy matchy.

Research finished. I'm looking at a 1951 yearbook and that does look like the old ChiO house on E. Woodruff. I believe they built their current house on Indianola at 14th around 1953 or 54. While the picture from 1951 is similar (saddle shoes and pearls), it isn't this one. |
