Actully We're not a chapter yet. Still a colony until Saturday. We get initated Friday night. I'm so siked.

But I do have a question..How come you're done pledging before the semester is over & grades are out? I didn't know fraternities ever did that.

because we have an eight week pledge program, and have to start (i think) at the same time other fraternities here do.

ah, I see. That's good in a way. I'm just used to pledging for an entire semester, then waiting for grades, then going through initiation. That's what my whole uni does, so i figured it was like that everywhere. a few sororities do that 8 week program here, but even most go all semester, i think.

Well, we're kindof on the honor system then I guess. Because if your grades aren't what you expected/up to par you're inactive the next semester. So everyone is honest plus pretty much knows what their grades will be because what is the point of going through the initation just to be "inactive" the next semester. Let me clairify inactive. No social events. You still have to go to meetings and do the work for the chapter though. I think. AT least that is the impression I get since i'm still kindof new to this.
