Texas A&M Spring Rush
Howdy all.
I've always heard things about seniors graduating and the sororities needing to fill their spots. How exactly does that work? I understand that its quite on the DL. How do they choose their potential new recruits? Do they want freshman? How early do they choose? I've made a good friend in one of the sororities, do the freshman new members get to suggest people? Please Help me out ladies!! Thanks a million! Sincerely, Rachel |

Double-posting, but it appears that you've already asked this question (and gotten an answer):

This is actually a different question.
And I understand the details are private but what about the generalities? Like when it happens? |
"How exactly does that work" is not asking for generalities.
|
Exactly.
If it's so very DL, your best sources are probably your friends who are actually IN sororities. They know best whether their chapters typically take upperclassmen/freshmen/whatever., or how you get invited to events, etc. Even then, they aren't going to be able to tell you HOW they choose. |
kthnx I guess.

If you were being considered by anyone who has just a spot or two to fill due to graduations, you'd be contacted. They don't advertise it or look for random girls. They already have women they know in mind.
The couple of houses who may not be as close to total might flyer and stuff. But it looks like you already got a bid to one of those and turned them down. In other words, you may have already had your only chance to be Greek at TAMU. Good luck. |
What Lady Longhorn said, plus, your right, it is on the DL. Don't call them, they'll call you.
