Greetings-I need advice
 

Greetings, I am a college graduate and I have always wanted to intake/pledge Alpha Phi Alpha. That was dream of mines since the freshman year. I think I might have went over board because I contacted the President of the chapter along with the VP and the treasurer. I have not gotten back any response, but now i feel kind of embarass for putting myself out there like that because now they will probably feel that I am desperate. I'm also overseas in the middle east, so I can't attend their events, but I do have plans to attend when i return-can anyone please give me some good advice or have i messed up the communication?

Generally speaking, we do not/are not supposed to answer intake related questions.

Contacting the chapter was not a bad idea.

All you can do at this point is make good on your commitment to attend the public events and hope that they like you.

By the way, there is no S on "mine" the way you have used it.
