RECS

The PH meeting I plan to attend is Feb 21st. With that said, when is an appropriate time to begin the getting letters of recommendation process? I plan to rush fall of 2011. I know I know I'm early, Ive been told that already... Just staying ahead.

Depending on where you are planning to go through recruitment, starting in February may not be as early as you think.

There are some competitive schools that have rec deadlines as early as June.

She's going to TX Tech.

Her previous thread turned into a trainwreck.

You're a poet and don't know it.

SamanthaBay 11-29-2010 03:24 PM

Agreed, it was a trainwreck. I'd delete it and start over if I could lol. Everything got taken way out of context but yes.. Texas Tech.

Thanks!

Thanks!

You took it out of context and kept going and going and going. Lesson learned on your part.

I recommend reading older threads and taking the advice from your other thread. At this point, you have shared too much info about yourself and it is best that you read more than post.

SamanthaBay 11-29-2010 03:38 PM

I am not the only one to blame, Dr.Phil. No need to bring it up again. Ive read older threads. Ive hardly shared anything about myself to anyone. It's over and done with, theres no need to continue with it. The whole situation is really quite petty. Again, this is about my RECS not previous postings.

KSUViolet06 11-29-2010 03:41 PM

^^^ Casula observation (and I haven't even read the previous thread).

You are very rude. Even when no one is rude TO you.

I really don't know why you're surprised about getting rude answers from folks.

You have to BE nice to get nice answers

/nice answer.

Yoda say think brain yours not.

Perhaps no sorority will waste a bid on you, anyway, and not because of your age. Problem solved.

knight_shadow 11-29-2010 03:44 PM

This thread will get locked, too LOL

SamanthaBay -- I'd suggest taking a step back and taking a deep breath. You're coming off as very defensive. You'll get more help if you chill out a bit.

SamanthaBay 11-29-2010 03:45 PM

Well, I apoligize I wasnt meaning to come off as rude. I was just saying to stay on this topic and not bring up the previous posts since there was a whole lot of rude-ness going on from both parties.. not just mine. Im afraid I'm finished with this website. Im not trying to attack or be rude to anyone.

SamanthaBay 11-29-2010 03:46 PM

You know, Im finished with this website. This was not my intention. Id rather not waste my time on any sorority Dr.Phil. Get it right.

Drolefille 11-29-2010 03:47 PM

oh goodie, I bet she got a recruitment PM from HPRL

Bad riddance

If you let a website affect your opinion of Greek Life, you probably don't need to go through recruitment...
