Actor Leslie Nielsen dies of complications from pneumonia
 
Actor Leslie Nielsen, known for his role as Lt. Frank Drebin in "The Naked Gun" series, died of complications from pneumonia Sunday, his family said.

Nielsen, 84, died in a hospital near his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, surrounded by his wife and friends.

I am completely crushed. I really think that comedic actors are more skilled than the serious ones, and Leslie Nielsen was one of the very best.

I can't think of many other stars who would be as sorely missed. May he be blessed.
