Update!

So, I wrote a while ago and received some good advice about recruitment as a soph and older student! A few of you asked for an update after initiation and some exciting things have happened since then...

Initiation was amazing! I am really loving my sisters and phi sigma sigma! I feel so luck to be a part of it!

ALSO! we had executive board nominations for our chapter last week and I was nominated for 6 different positions, but decided to only run for my first choice which was Membership Recruitment Coordinator! I ran against 5 other girls and I was voted in!!! :) I am so excited and determined to make this next FFR a wonderful/exciting experience! I have big plans for recruitment and I am so thankful my sisters saw this passion in me!!

Hope all is well with everyone!

Congratulations and good luck with your new position. As a brand-new initiate, I hope that you will do a lot of listening next semester. Learning the campus culture, what has/n't worked for your chapter in the past few years, etc., will go a long way. Make note of what is special about your chapter and the girls in it, and tailor recruitment to attract those elements.
