An update from a Brother of Theta Phi grad chapter of Jacksonville, FL:
Bruhs I ask you pray for the following young Bruhs, their chapter, college and families as this week was one with heavy hearts as one lost his life and the other in critical condition as a result of being in a fatal car accident. They were the only two on that line from Chi Fall '09 as well. Thus, they were/are that chapter's current Neos. Ed "The Thing" #5 Theta Phi {Florida's Mother Pearl} Jacksonville Omegas / Update: Bro Culmer and Bro Armenteros Brothers, As many of you have already been informed, Bro. Najee Culmer (1-Chi-Fall 2009) has passed as of early Friday morning in Miami, Fl. He was in a car accident with his line brother Roberto Armenteros, who is currently in stable condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. Bro. Najee Culmer was a senior at Edward Waters College majoring in Mathematics/Enginering and was 23 yrs old. Funeral services for Bro. Najee Culmer will be held this Saturday in Grand Bahama, Bahamas. We have been told that his long term condition will not be known until later this week. Please continue to uplift him in your prayers. The Memorial Service for Bro Culmer is tentatively scheduled for this Tuesday evening, Nov 30th, at the EWC Chapel. We will send out information Monday on the exact time. A second Edward Waters College student has died after a post-Thanksgiving car crash in Miami. Fraternity brothers and cross-country teammates Edward Waters students Najee Culmer and Roberto Armenteros had spent the holiday at Armenteros’ parents' Miami home. They were driving back there after meeting with friends early Friday morning when they were struck by another car. http://jacksonville.com/news/crime/2...er-miami-crash |
