step show

Hey Soror,

What you have to do is contact the Enterainment Director becuase she is handling the registration for the new sho. Her name is Coriya Burns. I believe her information is on the site. I know you have to submit a tape to be INVITED to the show. Its in December. They just had one of the qualifying shows last weekend, and it left less to be desired..meaning no one was really good. So I thought we need to take this money.!!! LOL!!!

Hello Finerwomen,

Is the stepshow still being held on Dec. 03? I haven't heard anything more about it and I couldn't find any information on Ryan's website. I was at the last stepshow and it was ok. I figured this one should be tight considering the prize money.

TRUE ZETA 11-29-2001 12:27 AM

Hey Shadrach,

Its on December 8, 2001, and I was at the last show and I think the AKAs were robbed big time. None of the groups were tight in my opinion, but its just my opinion. I think Ryan Cameron has done a poor job on advertising this show, but you will hear about it probably the week of the show. My chapter is trying to enter. You have to submit a tape to be invited. There is nothing on his website that talks about the show or the last show either.

Hello Sorors!

I was at the last Ryan Cameron show and I too think that the AKAs were robbed. I hope that this next show is better because it just seemed like people weren't bringing their best routines, even with the high stakes.

TRUE ZETA 11-30-2001 12:58 AM

You are right LB1914,

I dont think people were serious, and some people who shall remain nameless just assumed they were suppose to win ..when in actuality..their show was below par.

shadrach 12-04-2001 06:29 PM

True Zeta, Thanks for the info! I heard them advertise it on the radio yesterday morning...but they didn't mention where to get tickets or how much they would cost. I believe tickets were sold through ticketmaster last time, but I didn't see the event listed. You mentioned your team will be stepping...GOOD LUCK! Do you know who you'll be competing against? Any insight on tickets? I know you're not the host of the stepshow but you seem to know more than anyone else I talk to.

The BLUEPRINT 12-04-2001 09:11 PM

I just had to give my .22 cents. I went to the last one and I was hot because eventhough I bought my tickets from some scrapers the money was not worth it. And the AKA's got robbed big time, I couldn't believe it. I know the guest appearance of old girl gave the winners some points but the AKA's stepped in some high heels, I mean come on. The Iotas represented on the fear factor but I hope Ryan actually recruited for this one. And how can he not even have any Kappas stepping.
But if the Zeta team is stepping I wish you all much luck!

TRUE ZETA 12-05-2001 05:37 PM

Hey Shadrach,

You can buy tickets at the Morehouse arena the day of the show or at ticket master.

However, I would look closely at the ticket because a friend bought our tickets at ticketmaster at a Publix or shall I say POOblix..do to their service being similar to dog POO. Just my opinion. But, it was the wrong ticket, and we had to go back and exchange it.

I hope to see all Blue and White at the show. Come and support the OMNIPOTENT OMEGA PI chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. You will not be disappointed.

shadrach 12-05-2001 06:09 PM

Thanks for the info! My Frat bruh bought some Falcons tickets at Publix last weekend and almost had to fight to get in the game because Publix printed the tix without a barcode. People at the Falcon ticket booth thought he had some bootleg tickets....

Anyway, good luck this weekend and thanks for the help.

I might be a little late, but I had to add my 22 cents. The show was subpar to say the least. I love Ryan Cameron, and I listen to him every morning, but there should have been waaay more effort to recruit more teams. I can't stand paying double digits for tickets just to see 5 or 6 teams, one of which was KKPsi, the band fraternity.

Yes, the AKAs were robbed, and frankly, it seems that all shows at the AUC as of late are just "not right". Blueprint, I don't know anyone at the show that didn't say that "old girl" won the show for the winners. How often do you see sororities step HARD in heels, suits, and pearls, AND they keep it tight??? Is it just something about Step Shows in ATL? Hmmm.....

If there is a Zeta team, I certainly wish you good luck in representing.

ONE LOVE

TRUE ZETA 12-05-2001 07:08 PM

Hello Everyone,

I am glad I am not the only one who thinks that the show was below par. There is no way a band "frat" should have been in a stepshow! I was so upset when I saw them in the show. I paid $15.00 for a step show with members of the NPHC, and I saw KKPsi..I was appauled! I hope that this show will be better. I will see you all on Saturday! z-phi

The BLUEPRINT 12-05-2001 11:36 PM

True Zeta are you stepping with the Zeta's?
Well anyway wish them good luck and I know you'll see me I'll be the one screaming EEEE-YYYIIIPPP on the top of my lungs;)

JoJa Peach, Soror, I expect for you to be there!!!!!:D
