Hi,

I a sophomore at a university in Missouri. I accepted a bid and was initiated last year in one of our campus sororities. However, I dropped this year because I was going to transfer and I didn't know if that sorority would have a chapter at my new school. Now I am curious...can I rejoin the sorority at my new school if I rush it again?

What conference does your group belong to? NPC? NPHC?

If the sorority into which you were initiated was an NPC sorority, you cannot go through rush again. Whether you would be allowed to affiliate with the chapter of that sorority at your new school is a question that should be addressed to the sorority's HQ.

I can almost invariably answer these kinds of threads without even opening them to read the question. More often than not, the answer is two letters, not three

Yes, but only because it's YOU. YOU are the lucky SIXTH poster to THIS THREAD, in which case we ignore all other standing NPC policy and allow YOU to rush at your new university, even though you were an initiated member of another NPC sorority. Congrats for finding your way to GreekChat, and maybe you'll even win at life twice and end up in a top tier group.
