Bomb Threat at Ohio State University

Anyone here affected, or know anything further?

Four campus campus buildings, including The William Oxley Thompson Memorial Library, were evacuated as police investigated the threat.

There is a surprising lack of information about this. Not mentioned in the article, however, the other three buildings are Scott, Smith, and McPherson Laboratories.

Alright, I'll say it, though I'm not a huge OSU fan...

must have been someone from Michigan!

Younger daughter is at OSU, got the e-mail sent to all students early on. From talking to her, it seemed that students weren't very worried and assumed that it was a hoax. One of her classes was canceled. If memory serves, the 3 buildings that were closed other than the main library were buildings where most classes are engineering/math related. A friend of mine helpfully pointed out that OSU is a large high profile All-American apple pie midwestern university and that that might be a good place for terrorists to strike. Thanks friend.

Ugh! Middle son is also at OSU, and it took him over an hour to let me know "I'm fine, still in my dorm." Apparently the biggest pain was getting around all of the roads that were blocked during the investigation.
