In this thread, we share Sigma Foundation philanthropy event ideas.
What does your chapter do to support/benefit the Foundation?
I know that there are some chapters out there doing some pretty cool events/projects and I wanted to have a place to share those: Example: Alpha Beta (Kent) hosts an event called Tri Sigma Night Live (TSNL). Other chapters put on SNL themed skits and are judged by a panel of Sigma alumnae. Theta Alpha (High Point University) hosts Ropin' for Robbie a jump rope, carnival game, and tie-dying event on campus. Please share your own collegiate or alumnae chapters' events, or the events of chapters you advise/work with! |
Theta Alpha's Ropin For Robbie event made HPU's homepage!

At Delta Theta we host Rockin for Robbie where we sit outside the student union in chairs and ask for change. We are trying to make it a bigger event and raise more money so we do need some more ideas. We have tried selling hot coco when its cold and we have done a dunking booth in the spring. Any ideas would be great:)

I'm the new foundation chair for Beta Upsilon in the spring, I have some ideas that I'm gonna work on the logistics of over break, and if they seem like workable ideas, I'll let you know if they seem doable!
Usually we have some sort of dodgeball tournament in the spring. |
