Please pardon the crash. An article with pics (in a slide show, either flash or non-flash available) about the new KD house (or lodge) at Tennessee-Chattanooga:

The article mentions safety features, decor, "green" features, etc. The multiple pics show an attractive, homelike new place.

Question: who gets to dust / wash all those faceted pieces of the chandelier in one of the pics? :eek: Or is that strictly chapter business -- more exactly, standards board business? Just kidding.

I don't know the history of Chattanooga. Do the other chapters have houses? The article made it sound like a greek row was starting.

The Chi Omegas have had a lodge for many years. (It's an old chapter -- founded in 1919, I believe.) It's in an historic house in the center of campus and I don't think they plan to move.

It's a lovely house. What's the reasoning behind only having housing for 12 with such a large chapter size? Just curious.

There are half empty houses all over the country whose House Corporations wished they only had 12 beds.

That looks like a pretty big house for 12 girls! I'm super jealous only 4 girls share a bathroom haha
