Wish Me Luck Part Two
 

Hi Girls,

Well, the craziest thing has happened to me. I was going with the AGD JC to a wine tasting last night, when I happened to check my email. In it was a frantic message from someone at the company that I interviewed with this summer. They have a new position open at the company and they want to interview me for it today. They also told me they will probably make a decision today and if I get it, they want an answer today! :eek:

I'm really nervous about this interview because I'm not even really sure what the position involves! And, to complicate things even more, my boss at my current job made a really good offer to me this week in order to keep me where I am.

So please keep me in your good thoughts and wishes, and, if I am lucky enough to recieve an offer today, please pray that God grants me good judgment so that I can do the right thing...whatever it may be!

That is great news!
I hope that you get it and that you make the right choice for you, which ever one that is.
Recently, I turned down a job (which I now regret) and let others help me make a choice that I should have made myself so don't take the advise of others (whether they give you raises or not!) and do what you want to do regardless of everything else!

I DID IT!!!!

They made me the offer this afternoon, and I accepted! I'm excited, but now no more 5 minutes commute to work :( ...I have to do the rush hour thing like everybody else in L.A.

But...I got the job, and I'm really pleased about it. I start December 3rd.

Thank you everyone for your good wishes, I'm really happy about this new job, especially considering the fact that the economy seems to be taking a downturn and layoffs are everywhere.

I got a call this morning, and my uncle in Burbank has passed on due to lung cancer. My entire family is coming in from Arizona for the wake tomorrow and funeral on Monday. Everyone, please pray for the repose of my uncle's soul. It will be a huge comfort to his wife, children and grandchildren.

Congrats on your new job Maria :D Your new company is very lucky to have you :) Welcome to the ranks of us commuters :) I have fun with it daily here in Northern Virginia. My prayers go out to your family.
