I think you need to re-phrase that question:

"What do you think about the acts of some of the members of the Auburn Chapter of Beta Theta Pi have committed?" That fits the crime better.

I think what they did sucked. What they did does not represent the values and principles of Beta Theta Pi........trust me.

I agree with ZZ-kai-. What "some" of the members did from the Auburn Chapter was very stupid. What those individual members did does NOT represent what our values are. They should be disciplined to the fullest extent, but I do NOT think that ALL of Beta Theta Pi should be held accountable for their actions.

Frankly it pisses me off that someone, no matter what organization, would find that funny. It makes me feel even worse to know that it happened to be Beta's.

Your post is a prime example of the kind of reception I or any other Beta's will now recieve in and around the Auburn area, and from any students in the future who are currently at Auburn when they are to find out I'm a Beta. 20 years down the line I could run into someone who will associate Beta with rasicism because of this incident. It has been a great illustration on how my personal actions can reflect poorly, not only on myself but also, my chapter, the general fraternity, alumni and our history.

I agree w/ ZZ and Miami that the actions aren't representative of Beta, and I feel that the closing of the Auburn chapter was the appropriate measure.
