Keith Olbermann! Oh Snap!

Keith Olbermann suspended over political donations

Msnbc TV host gave cash to 3 Democratic candidates in apparent violation of NBC ethics policy

MSNBC is my least favorite of the (mainstream) cable news stations. Fox News and CNN are my favorites and in that order. None of them are "no spin zones" despite Fox News' (O'Reilly's) claim that the "spin stops here," etc.

When will folks realize that they all have spin and it doesn't matter whether it is Democrat, Republican (booooo @ both Dems and Repubs), liberal or conservative?

This goes back to what Shepard Smith said about journalists not having personal opinions. Journalists on these stations also don't get to have politicans in their pocket or be in politicians' pockets.

Good. Journalists need to stop going against the ethics policies of their organizations.

Agreed. I assume it is because they are to appear UNBIASED in their profession when just relaying the news, therefore they must be cautious in what they choose to openly (or quietly) support.

The comments section of the article is funny. The smugness and overly sarcastic tone of Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann are why I stopped watching their shows regularly years ago. (And, no, that doesn't make me a hypocrite because even I have topics and discussions where I am not trying to amuse myself. :))

I now primarily watch MSNBC for "Lockup."

PREACH IT! LOL! It irks me when people dig into Fox News, or Faux News as they call it, while providing links to the Huffington Post

ETA: I need to listen to Mark Levine today to see what he says about this.... He's always talking mad shit about Olbermann.

Keith Overbite Countdown to No Ratings.

It's from an older show but it's still funny as hell.
