Question for all actives/alumni
 

Hi, I am a pledge for TKE and i was wondering, do you really have to score 100% on the test to become a Teke? I know almost everything except our 20 local founders, our presidents, and our creed.

Im freaking out because our test is in less than 2 weeks and i have 50 names to memorize + school exams and lots of other things.

Dont get my wrong, im a dedicated pledge who is determined to be a Teke, im just nervous because i feel like I have so little time until the national test that apparently we need to get 100% on.

1. You should be asking these questions to members of your chapter.

2. If your IHQ and chapter say you have to know it, why do you think others will tell you differently?

so instead of studying, you find greekchat, sign up, and post?

I am studying, what i wanted was help, and not to get the shaft by my brothers...

You wanted internet personalities to "help" you figure out ways to get a lower score than required by HQ?

Maybe so, MysticCat. If so, that's another reason why some of us don't like it when people say "(chapter) founders" instead of something to the effect of "charter members." But, my opinion on that only matters for Delta. :D

Delta has Founders and our chapters have "charter members."

Different chapters have different criteria. Tests are at the discretion of each chapter. You could get a 100% on whatever test they make and still not get initiated because you're a dick.

Whether this chapter requires 100% or is just making the OP sweat I have no idea.

He really should be studying with his pledge brothers instead of posting on the internets.

I'm not in your chapter so I can't answer that question. If your pledge educator says so, believe it.
