Cal Poly - Pomona Suspends Pi Kappa Alpha: Hazing Allegations
 

Cal Poly Pomona has suspended Pi Kappa Alpha, which is being investigated due to allegations of hazing (branding, etc.). The LA Times reports:

. . The Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity allegedly staged ceremonies in December 2009 in which members were blindfolded and branded, according to a university statement.
The school has suspended all the fraternity’s activities and barred it from using university facilities.
The remaining 31 Greek organizations on campus will be placed on temporary probation while the school performs a hazing audit. . . .
