She has bacterial meningitis but is expected to make a full recovery.

Oh no!!! That's horrible and so scary. Hope she recovers soon.

Sending good vibes her way in hopes that she'll recover as soon as possible!

She lives in, um, close quarters with my sister. Luckily, the virus is fragile outside of the human body and my sister has been on the antibiotic that fights it for several weeks (for an entirely different infection!) It's been pretty scary but Lindsay is expected to recover well.
