Alpha Ep Wedding Traditions
 

Hi ladies!

I just attended a sister's wedding, which got me thinking about my own. I was wondering what wedding traditions your chapters do. There are a bunch in our sister binder, but our chapter really tends to use only two.

1. When we graduate, we each got a handkerchief embroidered with out initiation date, class, name, and the letters. Some brides tuck it into their garder, some wrap it around the base of the bouquet, and others just carry it.

2. We all surround the sister and her new husband at the reception, after the toasts, and sing a sorority song to her.

Do you guys do anything at weddings?

I haven't been to a wedding yet, but apparently our chapter does this too!

I love, love, love the handkercief idea. Where do you get them embroidered?

We had a chapter mom make them for us. :) She did a gorgeous job. They're very simple, but I love them. They were a perfect senior gift.

Which songs do you sing? Are they in the book or off the book? ;)
