Would I be able to join?

So I am soon going to be joining Bath University in the England, in my fourth (final) year, I will hopefully be going to study abroad in the US, most likely the University of Richmond. My question is, would I be able to join a fraternity for the 6 months that I am at the University?

Cheers

Well there is nothing that says that you can not be extended a bid to join. The question is though whither a fraternity would give you one knowing you are leaving the country as soon as you finish, which would mean they only have you for a semester.

It's a possibility, but the fact that you will only be in the US for a few months will probably hurt your chances. No harm in trying, though! Just be upfront about your time abroad.

I say go for it! You'll always wonder what if... Also, just a thought but you might want to consider getting more information about possible alumni initiations with a house you click with. Just my 2 cents. :-)

Um, what?

Please note that the OP is talking about joining a fraternity and not all fraternities do alumni initiation.

Somehow you've been around for four years with 8 posts and you have no idea how a comment about AI would be taken.

Seriously.

Idiot.

Actually you're a double idiot.

I clicked on your username, looked at your profile, and saw your join date. It literally took 5 seconds and zero "research." Do you really not know that?

Not even that - the bar at the top of the post tells us this type of information.
