You might want to be a little clearer. Are you a new member who is a parent, or the parent of a new member?

You also might not want to be so grumpy on your very first post.

For one, "fairness" is an intangible...

For two, it would be impossible for us to speculate based on one side of the story. Especially on matters we're not expressly privy to.

For three, you may not like some of the answers you get.

Let me guess... Your awkward/shy/wet blanket of a daughter didn't get into her top choice house and now mama bear is pissed and thinks her daughter was wronged and wants to know if she's able to "fix it"....

Don't be silly. The daughter is always the most pretty, perfect, smart, Nobel Prize winning, philanthropic, charming, beloved, non-slutty angel in the whole wide world. The girls in the top tier sororities, where she obviously deserves to be a member, are all a bunch of meanies. The end.
