A California Gossip Girl Recruitment Story! :)
 

Hi everyone! I'm starting rush this week at a California school and thought this would be a great place to share my story!

I'm a freshman and have 3 recs going into recruitment; although, i don't think its vital to have recs at my school. Anyways, I'm so excited and nervous for rush! We have our first orientation meeting tomorrow where they talk to us about what to expect for the week and i can't wait!!

I'm going to be using the Gossip Girl cast to name the houses because I am in love with the show!!

I just got back from orientation, and let me just say that I am SO PUMPED for the rest of the week! I got to meet a bunch of awesome girls who were also rushing, and also got to talk to a lot of girls in the chapters(they all had recruitment shirts on so I didn't know what houses they were all in)! All of the recruitment girls there seemed really genuinely nice and talking to them really gave me assurance that all the houses are great.

We also got to meet our rush groups and Rho Gammas today and they all seem like amazing girls! My Rho Gamma was super sweet and helpful with all of my questions and concerns, so, I am a little less nervous about the whole rush process; still pretty nervous though :). Round #1 starts on Wednesday and I will get to visit half of the sororities and the other half on Thursday! I can't wait to meet and bond with all the wonderful ladies in the houses! Until Wednesday.....

Sorry I haven't updated in forever! Butttt I'm just going to cut to the chase. Bid night was tonight and I got a bid from my #1 choice!!! Chuck!!!
