Looking for U of I football tickets...

Since I'm still fairly new here, I hope posting this is okay :) If not, mods, please feel free to delete.

I'm looking for anyone willing to sell me their U of Illinois football tickets for the 10/30 game against Purdue. I'll take 1-4 tickets.

PM me!

Thanks

Have you tried online services like Stubhub or Fansnap? They always have tickets for sale if you are willing to pay.

Yep, looking there too thanks :) Just trying out all my options!

Ha...I buy tickets from them all the time. We often get pretty good deals. Just depends on what game you're trying to get tickets for. If it's sold out, you can't expect to not pay more than face value. I paid three times face value for last years Super Bowl, but that was actually on the low end. Not to mention, you only get face value if you are a season ticket holder (which I wasn't.)

Stubhub has tickets for $6 for this game right now.

talking about a different school, but my daughter and her fiance' found tickets on ebay-they only paid face value and this was bama-penn state.

Oh, that U of I. If you wanted tickets for Idaho I could have hooked you up.

I've gotten tickets from ebay before, too. All of the services are essentially the same. You pay the price that the seller wants for the tickets. If it is a big game, you pay more. College tickets are cheaper than pro tickets for everyday games. By the end of the year when the teams have separated themselves, you'll have a hardtime finding cheap tickets anywhere for the popular games. The year LSU won the national championship in football, tickets for the nosebleed section in a stadium that holds 96,000 were going for $300. It wasn't worth it to me. That's how much I would pay for third row, 50 yard line Ravens' side for opening day at M&T Stadium.
